WE ARE ONE- INDEED!
Rock Star & Super Star Unite Kids In Need
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – January 28th, 2009 – Recovery has as much to do with timing as it does with care, and no one understands this more profoundly than Rock Star & Super Star. Devoting their lives to rocking and helping out, the high voltage R & R twins have created a non-profit venture that is literally changing and saving lives.
For kids in the early stages of recovery, focus, timing and security is critical. In an effort to engage their energies into a positive, more productive direction, RS & SS have developed We Are One, the first-of-its-kind alternative to the temptations that often pave a slippery slope into oblivion.
We Are One is essentially is a non-profit venture that allows kids who are early in their recovery to get OFF the street and INTO a healthy environment where they lose themselves through rock and roll by jamming, listening and creating. The good people at We Are One understand the significance of staying positive and surrounding oneself with other recovering addicts during the early stages of recovery. They also understand the importance of structure, leadership, teamwork and finding an alternative outlet in which to express oneself.
Rock Star & Super Star invite these wavering youths to join them in rehearsal, providing the rehearsal space, great energy, good people and good food. To these two insanely gifted brothers, there is little distinction between the future of these kids and the future of rock and roll. All is entwined in a kind of R & R community where the music and the care UNITES!
With a new book and CD aimed at seriously raising awareness about the struggles of addiction and its impact on others, it is imminently clear that Rock Star & Super Star have more in mind than the trappings of fame and fortune, theirs is a legacy of music, loudness and love!
The growing list of support for We Are One is already overflowing. With ANY donation, an autographed 8”x10” photo of Rock Star & Super Star (which is suitable for framing) is always included -- absolutely FREE -- but the benefits of support are incalculable. Donations can be made and sent to:

Kudos to Women Filmmakers At Park City Fete
HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. and PARK CITY, UTAH – January 16, 2009 – Two spunky non-profits are determined to create more opportunities for women in film and they will be spotlighting the success of women filmmakers during the Sundance and Slamdance Festivals. On Sunday, January 18, The Fund for Women Artists and the Alliance of Women Directors(AWD) will host “A Celebration of Women Filmmakers,” where they will salute the women filmmakers at Sundance and Slamdance.
The statistics on women in the film industry are daunting. Dr. Martha Lauzen of San Diego State University reports that only six percent of the top 250 films of 2007 were directed by women and more than 20 percent had no women at all in the key creative roles of director, writer, cinematographer, editor, producer or executive producer.
To beat these tough odds, The Fund for Women Artists and the Alliance of Women Directors recognize that successful female role models and new alliances of filmmakers and audience members are essential.
The Fund for Women Artists will invite film industry members to join their colleagues around the world for the second international Support Women Artists Now Day (SWAN Day) on March 28, 2009. SWAN Day is a celebration of women artists in all disciplines, held annually on the last Saturday of March as the grand finale of Women’s History Month. The goal of SWAN Day is to honor the full diversity, beauty and power of women's creativity.
The Fund for Women Artists is a non-profit organization that provides women artists with the resources they need through free online funding, networking, advocacy information, and by building alliances of women artists and supporters. The Fund for Women Artists’ website serves more than 500,000 visitors a year.
The Alliance of Women Directors is a coalition of working women film directors. AWD provides peer support, and furthers the art, craft and visibility of women directors through seminars, screenings, networking dinners and mentorship program.
“A Celebration of Women Filmmakers” will be held on Sunday, January 18 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Queer Lounge, 608 Main Street, Park City, Utah.
Thanks to: Queer Lounge and ABSOLUT ® VODKA.

Zander Bleck Hits The African "Festival Au Desert"
Immediate Release from "HOT from Koch"
HOT DESERT SOUNDS
NYC Singer Zander Bleck Hits The African "Festival Au Desert"
Los Angeles, CA (January 7th, 2009) Few musicians as talented, as committed & as smoking hot would have the coolness and the courage to cross endless miles of the Sahara desert (on camelback no less)- just to play their music-and in this country, Zander Bleck is that exception. The only American musician invited to participate in the African "Festival Au Desert" concert this year in Essakane, two hours from Timbuktu in Mali, Zander Bleck is paving the way for an emblematic and exotic music career.
A native of New Jersey, currently living in NYC, blessed with Adonis good looks, classic charisma and the musical talent to match, the twenty-four year old Zander Bleck is seriously taking America- and now the world-by storm. The Festival Au Desert is an ideal venue for the idealistic Bleck, as Led Zeppelin front-man Robert Plant enthusiastically explains of his own experience participating in this African music festival, "It's one of the few honest things I have been part of in a long, long time. It's amazing to play out in the sand. There are no doors, no gates and no money. It reminded me of why I sang in the first place." Bleck vehemently agrees!
The history of the festival is deeply rooted in traditional Touareg festivities, which represented for a long time a place for decision-making and exchange of information among the different communities. Initially, there were songs, poetry, traditional Touareg dances, as well as camel rides and games.
Today, the Festival is international in scope, with music as its main focus. Zander will be, in many ways, representing the United States, and with a new music video being filmed in Africa for "Beyond The Horizon", a video documentary to come of Zander's entire African experience, and the tremendous success of Zander's first release, "Get Up" (here is the "Get Up" music video). Zander Bleck is on his way to world-wide recognition!
Check out http://www.zanderbleck.com/ for more information on Zander Bleck, or http://www.festival-au-desert.org/ for more on this extraordinary event!

Mikey Post Shines In Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories
Fortuitously released nationwide on Christmas Day, Bedtime Stories is a moving, charming, soulful and offbeat tale of the power of the imagination and magical realism of storytelling itself. And while the gregarious Adam Sandler takes the screen by storm in usual wily Sandler fashion, Mikey Post gives quite a memorable turn as Jimmy “The Angry Dwarf”-in what could otherwise be considered a smaller, role.
The actor sinks fully into his contribution and comes off as hilarious as he is genuine. If not necessarily a star-making model for Post, it is certainly something of an eye-catcher. Having appeared in such serious films as Black Knight, Rest Stop, Rest Stop 2, Killer Pad, Skid Marks, and on the TV show MADtv, Swift Mikey always makes his indelible mark.
In this Disney family fantasy comedy, Bedtime Stories, the film centers around the Bronson family, who sell off their familial hotel, leaving the dream-shattered Skeeter Bronson (Sandler) heartbroken, when big shot Barry Nottingham re-negs on promise to make him manager.
Without giving too much of this extraordinary jewel away, the story moves sweepingly forward and into a world of fantasy and dreamscapes-as Sandler is eventually embraced for his bedtime manner, winning over the precious hearts of the young, those who, captivated & willing, fall under his storytelling spell. Once he incorporates their own ideas into the tales, the line between dream and reality beautifully blurs.
Originally from Columbus Ohio, Mikey Post is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Now a Hollywood home-maker, Mikey can also be seen in the upcoming Disney feature Santa Buddies.
We’ll keep you POSTED on the dynamic possibilities & career of MIKEY POST!

Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery, Inc. New Face Of Classic Beauty
Here is a new media release about a fantastic Plastic Surgery medical and spa facility.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA (December 2, 2008) Luxurious doesn't even begin to convey the chic modernity, architectural brilliance and sophisticated vibe of the new Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Inc. medical and spa facility. Beauty begins with beauty, and in this environment, one is constantly reminded and perpetually surrounded by an aesthetic of the highest order. And it is indeed remarkable that in Beverly Hills, the epicenter of plastic surgery, classic beauty is again revered and wonderfully re-established as the modern standard by BHPS.
And it is also no mistake that Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Inc. (BHPS), a full-service plastic and cosmetic surgery practice, is led by the surgical skill of the preeminent plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Gabriel Chiu. It is after all, his vision, precision, and dedication to symmetry and proportion, that has single-handedly raised the beautification bar, as a slew of satisfied clients attest.
(Thankfully), Dr. Chiu’s commitment to classic beauty has re-populated Beverly Hills with more natural-looking women, turning the trend against that wind-tunnel-swept look, gushes Karen S., a devoted client of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery, Inc. (see www.BeverlyHillsPlasticSurgeryInc.com for more information).
Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Inc. generously offers up their luxurious spa office, complete with the most modern technologies available, a sensational Skinceuticals retail lounge, a VIP retreat for the most discerning clientele, as well as a personable staff of profoundly knowledgeable consultants, nurses, and medical aestheticians. One feels most at home, or at the very least, relaxed in this Vogue-like resort, this Chanel-inspired suite. Soothing Parisian tunes play while patients sip on decadent refreshments: this is clearly a place to rejuvenate, replenish, and transform.
BHPS suggests that it is their understood ideal of enhancing beauty by utilizing the most natural, minimally-invasive, and painless techniques available, as well as customizing the treatment in its entirety to serve the specific needs of their patients. And to manage this while creating a chic and exciting ambiance is truly a medical/social breakthrough!
Located ultra-conveniently at 9454 Wilshire Blvd, (facing So. Beverly Drive) on the ground floor, what has in the past been considered a clinical, impersonal and even cold experience, now has the spirit of that which its critical work is intended; to change peoples lives, to re-create youth, and ultimately to enhance beauty.
Surgeon expertise and integrity, patient safety and confidentiality, the finest supplies and instruments, and advanced, proven technologies and techniques, all come conveniently together in what has to be considered as one of the premier plastic surgery establishments and experiences worldwide. But it is the overriding goal of BHPS that sets it apart altogether-their care for the patient and dedication to a classic beauty!
For more information and/or to interview Dr. Gabriel Chiu, please contact their Los Angeles-based Public Relations Company, Eileen Koch & Company INC., at 310.441.1000 or email Eileen at Eileen@eileenkoch.com.
