Laura Bryna on Celebrity Cafe

Country-pop diva and EKC client Laura Bryna was recently interviewed by TheCelebrityCafe.com for the scoop on her sophomore album, which is slated for released in the fall and features star producer Rob Boldt. Laura also talked about her weird hidden talent, and what it's like being Mom to three birds! Check it out:

TCC: You are busy with a lot of different projects. What are you loving the most?

LB: Just to be able to do what you love is really amazing. I'm getting to host a show, singing, doing some acting, kind of all of the above. Everything is really a lot of fun, I love being busy. That's something my parents always said, "You know how to manage your time." People ask if I take a vacation and when you love what you do, everything is a vacation. I’m just loving it all, to tell you the truth.

TCC: You’ve been working on a second album as well. What can we expect from your sophomore album?

LB: It's got a new sound. It's got country in there, but it’s got some pop, rock, R&B, and I love all different styles of music so I kind of make my own genre. It’s going to have a lot of different flavors in it and I’m just showing that I’m growing. I’m being an artist and getting out there and figuring out Laura Bryna and trying to be me!

TCC: I am very excited to hear your new album. Do you know when it will be released?

LB: We’re on the second and third song right now so we are thinking probably around August or September, but like they say in construction, they give you a date but it’s not for two more months down the road. But there is no hurry, we want to make it right.

TCC: Exactly! You want to make it feel right and personal. How do you think the events in your life have shaped your new album?

LB: I always love the fun sassy attitude song, but on this album I said to Rob Boldt, who is my producer, “You know, this time I have to have single songs on this and let this be inspiring to single chicks out there!” There will be a couple of those. There’s still the fun sassy attitude. It’s going to be that inspiring kind of thing like we’ve been looking for love and all about that idealistic smushy kind of stuff. A fairytale thing! Laura Bryna Talks Spring Style on Urban Darling

EKC client, international country-pop recording artist Laura Bryna, discusses spring fashion on her latest entry as a featured guest blogger on Urban Darling --

Laura Bryna’s Spring wardrobe

More from darling Laura Bryna!

Ok, so with Spring here and Summer around the corner, I’ve been on a search for a really cute maxi dress. These dresses are so adorable, they come in fabulous colors, and they are lots of fun. They also follow the general rule: fitted up top, flowy on the bottom, or flowy on top, fitted on the bottom. But I have to say, when you have a size D cup, finding a dress like that, that you can wear with a bra, and, that hides your straps, is not easy. So I saw a commercial on TV for a product called Strap Perfect, and I’m telling you, THEY WORK! They come three to a package — black, clear, and nude. Great for all occasions. They are also fabulous underneath the very “in” sequin tanks, ethnic-inspired patterns from rompers to tanks, and definitely maxi dresses. They are totally hidden and make your boobs look like they are sitting high and mighty. They work for any size cup! It’s a great investment girlies! (read more...)

Laura Bryna Spills Her Beauty Secrets on Daily Glow

EKC client Laura Bryna recently chatted with Emma Bing of Daily Glow, who wanted to know how the songstress stays so beautiful (inside and out!) in the midst of her busy music career. Check out Laura dishing on makeup, must-have hair products and charity work:

Whoever coined the phrase “beautiful on the inside and out” had to have been talking about Country music singer/writer Laura Bryna. I am convinced! Best known for her song “Make A Wish”, which is used by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that she is very involved it (hence the inside beauty!), Laura has a flourishing Country music career, and has received critical acclaim for her debut album in 2008. I can’t wait to see what comes next for this gorgeous songbird.

1.)You do so much charity work (like working with the Make-A-Wish foundation). You obviously have a beautiful heart to go with your outer beauty. What is beauty to you?

I believe that beauty comes from within. I think it's how you feel inside and how you carry yourself. You put a smile on and be confident with who you are. Be the best you that you can be and nothing can stop you.

Emma: That is beautiful advice!

2.) Would you consider yourself more of a glamour girl or natural girl?

Well, I love girly stuff. Makeup, hair, clothes, glitter… I love it all! So I definitely love to play dress-up, but it's also fun to let my hair down once in a while, be in my jammies, play with my birds… with a fabulous face mask or moisturizing cream on, of course!

Emma: I could not agree more! I love being a girl and playing with makeup, but another fabulous part of being a woman is the jammies and face masks!

3.) What does your morning and evening beauty routine consist of?

My morning routine: Get up, get the birds up, take a shower, brush my teeth, put on my face cream, do my hair, makeup, decide on an outfit (if not laid out the night before) get dressed and make breakfast for the birds and me.

Evening routine: Get in my PJs, throw my hair up in a ponytail and headband, take off my makeup, brush my teeth, put on my face creams, and hop into bed. (read more...)

Laura Bryna Featured in SingularCity!

EKC client Laura Byrna, international recording artist, was featured this week in SingularCity -

Laura Bryna is small in stature, but that’s the only diminutive thing about her: Big singing voice, big smile, enormous energy, and boundless aspirations. A SingularCity.com community member, the petite fireball almost crackled with electric energy and vitality as she took the stage in a recent showcase at a Burbank soundstage. Tossing her long, dark hair, and with an easy repartee with the invited audience, she whipped her sinewy form across the stage. It’s obvious she has a fierce devotion to her music.

With a wisecracking smile, Laura introduced a song, “I Hate Loving You” with the comment that she is “severely single.” Being singular doesn’t seem to put any stops on Laura. She’s burning tread across the nation on a non-stop schedule that has put her name on the musical map. In fact, owning her own life and her destiny has given Laura the power to achieve her dreams. EKC Client Laura Bryna Blogs Fashion on Urban Darling!

EKC client, international country-pop recording artist Laura Bryna, joins the Urban Darling team as a guest fashion blogger!

Read Laura's first entry:

Happy New Year Everybody! I’m Laura Bryna from Mount Airy, Maryland – a recording artist, actress, television host, but most of all a girlie girl to the enth degree. I am a total fashion nut who is always looking for fun, funky things to add to my wardrobe, makeup drawers, and hair paraphernalia. Girlieness, if that’s a word, has always been in my blood.

My mom, who is my whole life, went to school for fashion merchandising, so really, I believe, I’ve learned from the best. Growing up I used to watch her put on her makeup and then came the big question, “what should I wear today?” That’s where the illness began for me! (read more)

HOT From Koch :: Bryna & Boldt: A Perfect Match

Laura Bryna Joins Forces With Music Producer Rob Boldt

Resilient international recording artist Laura Bryna has announced a collaboration with the vastly versatile and seriously selective music producer Rob Boldt for her highly anticipated second full-length album, to be released in 2010. Bryna, who has established herself as a blossoming queen on the modern music scene with her signature eclectic country-pop-rock style, is taking her sound and soul to an altogether new level with the addition of Boldt.

Rob Boldt has conscientiously contributed to defining tracks by notable names like Fergie, Paula Abdul, Lou Cantrell, J.C. Chasez, & N'SYNC. With his superbly discerning ear and tenacious talent, Boldt seems a pitch perfect match for Bryna's bold and beautiful aesthetic -- a combination sure to splendidly deliver. The sophomore album to Bryna's wildly embraced debut CD, "Trying To Be Me," her second album promises to take huge leaps in experimentation, while staying firmly rooted in her distinctive, resonant and captivating sound.

Stylish Los Angeles producer Rob Boldt -- who is a composer himself -- is known for his forte and faculties with regard to music. His taste, ability and skill can be grasped as much by the company he keeps as the recordings themselves. And Bryna now joins that company and makes it sing! This is why the combination of Bryna and Boldt holds such serious promise.

"In my experience I have worked with so many talented artists, but there was something unique that I found about Laura's voice and personality that really caught my attention," states Boldt. "I'm beyond thrilled to work with such an exquisitely talented luminary and I'm utterly convinced great things lie in store for Bryna's future."

From her West Hollywood base, Maryland native Laura Bryna launched her singular singer-songwriter career fairly recently. And what volumes since have come! Last year she bowled over a sold out crowd at the famed LAX Club in Las Vegas for her debut CD release. That same year, after her stirring and contagious hit "Hometown Heroes" served as the Air National Guard's official campaign song, she was named their national spokesperson.

This year the fiery, fiercely talented Bryna rocked the House of Blues on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles to a once-again standing room only crowd, establishing her as a rocker to be reckoned with! She has also signed an international record and licensing (multi CD) agreement with AGR Television Records in Hamburg, Germany, which is distributed by Universal Music Group.

With so much in store and so much at stake, this latest collaboration with the inimitable Boldt thrusts rising star Laura Bryna onto the 2010 world stage where she belongs!

International Recording Artist Laura Bryna Featured on the Cover of Southern Beauty Magazine's Fall Issue

International recording artist Laura Bryna is almost as passionate about beauty and fashion as she is about singing. So when the publishers of Southern Beauty magazine approached her for a cover feature on her blossoming career, Bryna jumped at the opportunity.

“It doesn’t get much better than this,” exclaims Bryna, who splits her time between Nashville and Los Angeles, where she is working on a follow-up CD to her critically acclaimed debut, ‘Trying to be Me.’ “Not only did I get to talk to the editors at Southern Beauty about my music and work with the Air Guard and Make-A-Wish Foundation, but I was able to dress up in some of the most beautiful clothing you could imagine. What an incredible experience!”

The new issue of Southern Beauty is being distributed both digitally and nationally and can be seen online at www.southernbeautymagazine.com. Founded in 2007, SouthernBeauty is the only magazine dedicated to the beauty and fashion world of the Southern woman. Featuring celebrity interviews and first-person accounts of Southern glamour,Southern Beauty is the ultimate resource for beauty must-haves and spiritual growth. Other recent feature stories in the magazine have included LeAnn Rimes and Nancy O’Dell.

In the article, Bryna talks about being “blessed” to have the career she dreamed about as a kid growing up in Mt. Airy, Maryland. In addition to her music career and a recent deal with AGR Television Records (through Universal Music Group) to distribute her debut CD internationally beginning in 2010; Bryna donates a large share of her time to several causes that are dear to her heart. They include the Make-A-Wish Foundation (she’s on the board of directors for the Mid Atlantic Chapter), the Air Guard (AG) and the National Guard Youth Foundation. Bryna is a celebrity spokesperson and the voice behind the Air Guard’s national advertising – she co-wrote ‘Hometown Heroes’ which the AG adopted for the campaign.

Most recently, Bryna became a celebrity spokesperson for the National Guard Youth Foundation’s Youth Challenge Program – a 17-month commitment by at-risk teenagers who’ve dropped out of high school to get their lives back on track, and get back in school, graduate and lead productive lives. Towards that end, Bryna is working with the NGYF and the City of Los Angeles on a major Hometown Heroes event and fundraiser to be held sometime next year. This past August, Bryna celebrated some special American Hometown Heroes and Women of the Air Guard with a standing room only performance at the famous House of Blues in West Hollywood.

“Music and entertaining are my passions,” says Bryna. “Being able to make people happy and take their mind off their everyday worries for a little bit is such a thrill for me. But, it’s the other things, like helping kids through Make-A-Wish or thanking the troops who do so much for all of us that really makes it worthwhile.”

“Laura Bryna epitomizes the young, vibrant, caring Southern woman of today,” says Southern Beauty Publisher Shannon Lindsay. “We have been tracking her career for two years and there seems to be no stopping this woman. Her energy, charisma and talent are contagious!”

Laura Bryna Tells Southern Beauty Magazine Why 'Life is Good'

Country star and philanthropist Laura Bryna discusses her sizzling music career and gives readers a peek inside her charmed life in Southern Beauty Magazine's fall cover story:

"Laura Bryna has been surrounded by heroes and amazing experiences the past year and a half. In January of 2008 Bry
na’s year started off with a proverbial bang as she was approached by Master Sergeant Bob Hall and retired Lieutenant Colonel Randy Johnson to represent the Air National Guard in an upcoming advertising campaign. Honored by this opportunity it was easy for
Laura to show her excitement. Says Bryna, 'That was such a compliment. I have such an appreciation for the military. To be an outsider looking in, they really allowed me to become a part of their family.'

After shooting the commercial for the Air National Guard, Laura took
inspiration from the men and women she met during the filming and crafted her latest single, Hometown Heroes. 'Doing the Hometown Heroes video was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Real life heroes from every war surrounded me. It was absolutely incredible; I kept thinking
