HEARTbeats Hits All The Chords At Fundraising Event
Artist ambassadors Lynn Harrell and Helen Nightengale hosted an intimate fundraiser for their beloved HEARTbeats Foundation (www.heartbeatsforchildren.org). The affair was hosted at a private venue on March 27, 2011, with proceeds going to impoverished children in areas of conflict. The reception was well attended by musical luminaries, philanthropists, and notable figures –including Bob Potter and Heather Simpson of Save The Children. The guests were treated to a silent auction accompanied by memorable musical performances by Christine Brewer, Randy Kerber, John Williams, Steve Connell, Sekou Andrews, Neil Comess-Daniels, and an exclusive cello piece performed by Lynn Harrell, written by famed film composer John Williams.
