HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. -- April 2009 – When the instinctually razor-sharp and tirelessly talented Joey Lauren Koch was inspired to created StarBrite Music Supervision (SMS), she knew that she was onto something. What she may not have known then - but is certain of now - is just how profoundly the niche she made was needed and how promising is her unique way of making it!

SMS is essentially hired by said production to supply music to any host of visual and interactive media, which include films, television, commercials, events, etc. This is where Koch’s acute ear, discerning eye and contemporary cultural sensibility come perfectly into practice.

In this respect, SMS is a critical component of the overall collaboration, selecting specific outside music/underscore for the project which often includes songs utilized during on-camera situations. SMS also handles the negotiation and licensing of songs and all specific music matters (business or otherwise), such as soundtrack albums, publishing deals and cue sheet execution.
