EKC's Eileen Koch is devastated to have learned of the passing of Dr. Frank Ryan.Los Angeles and the world has lost a man who was both remarkably talented and genuinely kind. Eileen and her daughter, Joey, had the pleasure of knowing the legendary surgeon since he started his practice in LA. They came to know Dr. Ryan not only as a brilliant artist, but a caring doctor and sincerely compassionate person. He gave so much of himself to each patient, making everyone feel like an A-lister. Meanwhile, he was a dedicated philanthropist, who worked to improve the lives of underprivileged youth through his nonprofit organization.
A candlelight vigil will be held tonight at Zuma Beach in remembrance of Dr. Ryan. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
